With so many new anime coming out this fall, which Fall 2019 anime you should be paying attention to?
If you’re not sure which Fall 2019 anime you should be watching, then take a look at my anime list for this season.
Here are some of the Fall 2019 anime I’m currently watching right now.
Babylon
I always have a penchant for the mystery anime. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to many of you that I will include Babylon on my list.
Based on the three episodes I watched so far, I find that the story is indeed interesting.
If you’re into a mystery anime like me, then it doesn’t hurt for you to give Babylon a try.
You can also give the manga version a try if you can read Japanese, which you can get it at CDJapan:
Buy Babylon (First Volume) at CDJapan
Boku no Hero Academia
I’ve been watching Boku no Hero Academia since the first season. So, it’s obvious that I will continue to watch the new season as well.
If you’re into the superhero-theme story, then I highly recommend you to give Boku no Hero Academia a try.
You can also read the manga too if you find it hard to catch up with the anime.
You can buy the manga right here on Amazon:

Fairy Gone
Many people who watched the first season of Fairy Gone thinks that the anime is just plain awful and isn’t worth watching.
But for me, I don’t see the anime to be that bad. If you’re talking about bad anime, there are plenty of them out there which is even worse than Fairy Gone.
Putting the naysayers aside, should you give this anime a try?
Well, I will say in advance that this anime isn’t for everyone since the pacing is rather slow and the conflict takes a long time to unfold until the last few episodes of the first season.
It was only until the beginning of the second season that we’ll start to see that thing starts to rear its ugly head.
But I won’t be so quick to dismiss this anime since that’s how the military-theme story like Fairy Gone should unfold.
The story takes place during peace anyway. It takes a while for things to escalate into something terrible during a peaceful time.
If you love military-theme story and you don’t mind with the slow pace, then you should give Fairy Gone a try.
Granblue Fantasy The Animation S2
I’m a huge fan of the game. And since I already watch the anime version from the beginning, there’s no doubt that I will watch the second season as well.
You don’t need to play the game if you want to immerse yourself with the story. But I do recommend you to watch the anime from the beginning if you do plan to give this anime a try.
Alternatively, you can also read the manga too if you prefer.
I can’t say for sure how close the manga version is with the game storyline since I haven’t read the manga yet.
But I do know that there’s a slight change with the story for the anime version.
If you’re interested in reading the manga, you can buy the manga right here on Amazon:

The manga is also available on Bookwalker too. You can get the manga right here:

Phantasy Star Online 2 – Episode Oracle
Okay, I did say back then about the last Phantasy Star Online anime being a dubious video game adaptation.
So, why am I still watching Phantasy Star Online anime despite the previous anime was plain garbage?
According to people who are familiar with the game, the previous Phantasy Star Online anime was an original anime to promote the game. In other words, the previous anime has nothing to do with the main game and also Episode Oracle at all.
Episode Oracle, on the other hand, is somewhat a closer representation to the game.
If you feel that you can’t watch Episode Oracle because you didn’t watch the last PSO anime, don’t worry so much about that. You can skip the previous PSO anime altogether and watch Episode Oracle instead.
PSYCHO-PASS 3
PSYCHO-PASS 3 is the anime that I’m most looking forward to watching this season.
It’s hard to say how the third season will fare since the first episode just came out as I write this. But I’m sure that the third season will be just as good even though my favorite character, Kogami, won’t make a cameo appearance like he did in the second season.
If you can only watch one anime, then I highly suggest you give PSYCHO-PASS a try.
Of course, you have to watch from the first season if you want to have a better understanding of the story. It also helps if you can watch the movie too.
I know that may seem too much just to understand the story in PSYCHO-PASS. But at the very least, watch the first and the second season first before you attempt to watch the third season.
Shokugeki no Soma S4
My reason for watching the fourth season of Shokugeki no Soma is simply because I’ve been watching the anime from the first season.
Sure, some people trashed the anime because they felt that the story is going downhill. But for me, I still find the anime to be entertaining as always.
If you love cooking anime and you don’t mind seeing people stripping themselves whenever they have a food tasting, then you will certainly love Shokugeki no Soma.
Alternatively, you can also read the manga too. The manga is already ended not too long ago. Same goes for the sequel too.
If you’re interested in giving the manga a try, you can buy the manga right here on Amazon:
Buy Shokugeki no Soma Vol.1 on Amazon
Once you’re done with the main series, don’t forget to read the sequel on MANGA Plus. You can read the sequel right here:
