Summer 2020 anime

Wait, is this the only Summer 2020 anime I’m currently watching right now?

Unfortunately, it is. As much as it pains me to admit it, I realize that I didn’t have that many anime to watch this season.

Sure, one of the reasons is because I’m cutting back the number of anime I’m watching every season. But at the same time, there aren’t that many anime coming out this summer, anyway.

I’m not sure whether this season is a blessing or a curse since we didn’t get bombarded with so many new anime like the last time.

But at least I can use this opportunity to watch the anime that I always want to watch but never have the chance to.

If you’d like to know what new anime is coming out this season, you can take a look at the Summer 2020 anime list right here.

What Summer 2020 anime I’m currently watching

Unlike the last season, I only have one new anime that I’ll be watching this season. Of course, I still have quite a few anime that I’m watching from the last season because of the delay.

At least that’s not the only anime I’m watching throughout this whole season.

Enen no Shoubotai S2

Personally, I never thought that we would get the second season of Enen no Shoubotai. Imagine my surprise when I found out about the news that we’ll be getting the second season.

For some people, it’s already expected that the anime will get a second season considering that the manga itself is almost close to the end by the time the second season comes out.

So, many people are expecting for the anime to be adapted until the end.

Amazingly enough, I find that the second season is a lot more enjoyable to watch than the first one.

Sure, the story does escalate to something serious at some point. But it’s still enjoyable to watch.

If you’re thinking of watching this anime, I do recommend you to watch it from the beginning because the second season will continue from the last few episodes of the first season.

I’m also watching the old anime too

I usually am not the kind of person who will sift through the anime from the previous season. But since there aren’t that many anime coming out for this season, I decided to have a look at the anime that I missed watching.

If I want to watch the anime that I didn’t get to watch back then, now is the time to do so.

Just like my Summer 2020 anime list, the number of old anime that I’m watching right now isn’t that extensive.

Well, I’m still trying to keep the number of anime I’m watching to the bare minimum.

Honzuki no Gekokujou

Honzuki no Gekokujou

To be honest, I feel bad for skipping this anime when the anime came out a few seasons ago. Sure, I do read the light novel and enjoy it. But I never consider giving the anime version a try until recently.

I have yet to finish watching the anime as I write this. But I sure hope that we’ll have another season for Honzuki no Gekokujou.

I already talked about the light novel on my blog before. You can read about it right here if you’re curious about the light novel.
